The rector accompanied Hendrik Wüst for a week and took the opportunity to visit three Japanese partner universities of the Ruhr-Universität.

The “Career Day” is now an integral part of the annual Summer School Solvation Science. This year, professionals from Bayer AG, Henkel AG, ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG, and a senior editor of the journal Angewandte Chemie will present themselves and their career paths in short talks. RESOLV takes part in the well-known youth competition "Jugend Forscht" and shows participating pupils how top scientists work in the field of Solvation Science.

On March 7, the first WSC Demo Day took place at the O-Werk in Bochum. The event gave 10 Worldfactory start-ups the opportunity to pitch their solutions, successes and visions for the future and to be awarded the "WSC-Sternchen 2023" prize. From RESOLV, FP-RESOMUS fellow Dr. Celia Mellion and her team from the start-up HoLa were particularly convincing. Their start-up HoLa was awarded the first prize.
