The EXIST Research Transfer program supports teams in translating promising research results into a start-up.
Former RESOLV and FP-RESOMUS postdoc Dr. Celia Millon and her colleagues Dr. Yicheng Wang, and Dr. Michael Müller developed a new ultrashort-pulse laser that utilizes a previously unprecedented wavelength of 2.1 µm. The newly developed laser promises versatile applications in solvation spectroscopy, communication with space, and silicon processing. The idea for the venture originated in the PULS research group led by RESOLV member Prof. Dr. Clara Saraceno. The start-up is supported by the RUB WORLDFACTORY Start-up Center (WSC) and the start-up incubator Start4Chem.
