CALEDO – APPLICATION OF Solvation Science – opened in 2025
CALEDO, the second research building dedicated to Solvation Science, was officially opened in October 2025. CALEDO stands for Center for Advanced Liquid-Phase Engineering Dortmund and provides space for over 100 Solvation scientists. The main research focus is on three application areas where liquid phases play a crucial role: reactions, separations, and formulations.
ZEMOS – Home of Solvation Science – opened in 2016
Officially opened in 2016, ZEMOS is the first research building for Solvation Science in the world. It offers the most advanced facilities in spectroscopy, simulation and solvation to more than 100 scientists.
NEW FACULTY – SINCE 2012
Since its inception in 2012, RESOLV has succeeded in appointing 27 professorships as new faculty members.
