"What will I do after my graduation?" - This is a question that occurs to many students at the end of their studies. To help with this question, the Career Day was held on June 9th as part of the Summer School Solvation Science 2022. For an entire afternoon, attendees learned from four experts in the chemical industry.

At its New Year's Reception, the Cluster of Excellence RESOLV reviewed a successful year 2021, celebrated the lived cooperation in the Ruhr Area and awarded the RESOLV Doctoral Prize for the first time.

On Wednesday, 27.10.2021, Andreas Fischer visited us at ZEMOS and we talked about Solvation Science and the incubator Start4Chem.

Saskia Weise-Poetschke from "Young Entrepreneurs in Science" and Annabell Beyer and Frederik Lehmann from "Start4Chem" will discuss with RESOLV's PhD students and Postdocs what it means to be an entrepreneur and what the specific support services look like.

The second round of the educational project Solvation Science@School started. The project will award students that present good research exercises in solvation science.

RESOLV awards prizes to Martha Godau and Florian Steinkamp for their Facharbeiten in the basic chemistry course.

In Lectures, discussions, and breakout-sessions graduates and Postdocs learn about the career experiences of entrepreneurs, start-up coaches and professionals from industries. Guests from LiveSen, the Chemistry Incubator Start4Chem, Evonik Operations GmbH, and Covestro AG are welcomed to the RESOLV Career Day 2021! This time the Career Day will be held online.
