As part of the celebration of the International World Science Day 2026, RESOLV is traditionally organizing a academia-industry networking event. This time, the event will focus on our early career researchers and their future entrance into the industry.

Are you ready to bridge the gap between cutting-edge science and industry innovation? Look no further! RESOLV is pleased to invite you to our transfer event, where the worlds of research and business converge. 

The list of companies will be regularly updated: Altana AG, BYK Chemie GmbH, Bruker Optics GmbH &Co.KG, Ehrfeld Mikrotechnik GmbH, Edwards GmbH, Evonik Industries AG, INVITE GmbH, Pfeiffer Vacuum GmbH and other.

This year, our event will open with keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart. He will talk about 'Innovation Unleashed – Seven Cs to Germany’s Innovation Comeback'. Prof. Dr. Pinkwart served as Minister of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia from 2017 to 2022 and as Deputy Minister President and State Minister for Innovation, Technology and Research from 2005 to 2010. At the beginning of October 2026, he will assume a new senior professorship in 'Strategic Entrepreneurship' at the University of Bonn.

Event program

• In the first part, industrial companies introduce themselves.
• Then we will organize an exhibition of the different companies.
• We invited the company's HR to present the requirements for being hired by the company, sharing some of their secrets and recommendations.
• At the end of the day, we will organize a dinner in a restaurant in city center of Bochum (Brauhaus Rietkötter, Große Beckstraße 7, 44787 Bochum). At the dinner, all participants can meet with all speakers in a non-formal atmosphere,share insights, ask questions, and spark collaborations that could redefine the future of science and technology.

During the event, a professional photographer will be available to take portrait photos for your CV or LinkedIn. Registration for the photoshoot is required as the number of slots is limited.
