We were very happy to welcome the US Consul General Pauline Kao on 20.10.2022 to our research building ZEMOS. Together with the rector Martin Paul of Ruhr-Universität Bochum we spoke about the importance of international cooperations and how to strengthen them.
RESOLV spokesperson Martina Havenith reported on an international success story: the establishment of our sister institute California explores Solvation (CALSOLV) at the University of California, Berkeley in 2014. This has not only led to outstanding science but also benefits young researchers. One pivotal goal of the partnershipis the exchange program, that gives students of RESOLV and CalSOLV studentships to visit the corresponding sister institute in USA/Germany for at least 2-3 months.
