The “Career Day” is now an integral part of the annual Summer School Solvation Science. This year, professionals from Bayer AG, Henkel AG, ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG, and a senior editor of the journal Angewandte Chemie will present themselves and their career paths in short talks. The subsequent panel discussion will leave enough time to clarify any questions the participating young scientists may have on the topic of “Career and job entry”. The concluding BBQ offers the opportunity to network with each other and with the professionals.
