New RESOLV members: Dr. Hanna Hinrika Cramer and Dr. Guanqi Qiu

RESOLV welcomes new ECR Group Leaders

In the past weeks, two new members have joined the RESOLV Team as ECR (Early Career Research) Group Leaders: Dr. Hanna Hinrika Cramer (Ruhr University Bochum) and Dr. Guanqi Qiu (Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung).

Hanna received her doctorate in 2022 and continued her academic career as postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University (US) and at the University of Bonn (Germany). Her expertise area is organometallic chemistry with a focus on first-row transition metal catalysis, reaction mechanisms, structure-reactivity relationships, and sustainable chemistry.

Guanqi received her PhD in 2021 at Princeton University (US), followed by an Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowship at Justus Liebig University Giessen and Research Group Leadership at Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung (both in Germany). Her expertise area are the fundamental principles of organic reactivity with a focus on general physical organic chemistry, intrinsic reactivity, free energy relationships, quantum mechanical tunneling in organic chemistry, and mechanistic diagnosis.

RESOLV considers equity and diversity as a source of strength, fundamental to innovative ideas, and a prerequisite for excellence in science. Therefore, we are pleased to welcome two young female researchers to our team.

We wish them both continued success and a rewarding experience in their new roles.
