The long-term goal of this scholarship program is to enable students and doctoral candidates to complete their higher education studies and to support their academic freedom by providing a secure environment to conduct research. We provide funding for scientists of all career levels, from graduate students to visiting professors, to be hosted by one of our research groups for up to 6 months.
RESOLV provides a science-driven integrated graduate program in Solvation Science from B.Sc. directly to Ph.D. for the next generation of researchers in academia and industry, promotes opportunities for Early Career Researcher groups, and takes action to provide an environment that retains and supports a diverse range of talents in science. . We encourage Master and PhD students worldwide, specializing in natural sciences, medical science, or engineering, to participate. No age limit applies.
Benefits for schoolars include a six-month fully funded research opportunity at one of RESOLV Scientific group, a premier international research environment. You'll develop your scientific and professional skills while bringing your ideas to life. You will get a monthly stipend and a fixed-rate reimbursement of your travel expenses to Germany. This schoolarship will support people who is currently in dangeroues country regarding to the German list of it. Aplicants may wish to plan their stay to attend the RESOLV Summer School Solvation Science in May (26-29) 2026 or another events of Resolv. Regarding to their Credit plan. This plan can be updated regarding to the period of staying.
All participants need to have International health insurance with repatriation in case of serious illness for full period of staying in Germany.

For your application, you will need to attach for the letter:
- A one-page outline of your proposed project(s) within RESOLV – Please review the RESOLV website at for more information on the involved research groups and scientific disciplines.
- CV with contact details and affiliation (max. 2 pages)
- Letter of motivation related to Solvation Science (1 page)
- Diploma of your finished education level (Bachelor or Master) and Transcript.
Prerequisites: Current Students or Researchers in the fields of Natural Sciences, Medical Sciences, or related topics of Engineering disciplines who is living currently in the country where your face armed conflict and/or war, extreme violence and/or political persecution.
The program is officially open. We will accept applications at all times and work with them immediately. If we will not answer you after 5 days, please re-send your letter.
