The first GSS Autumn Workshop took place on the 28th and 29th October, 2013 in RUB Beckmanns Hof. There were 2 plenary talks by Early Career Researchers and Prof. Dr. Martina Havenith gave an overview of RESOLV. In the main part, 20 GSS doctoral students gave a short oral presentation of their research projects.
The GSS Autumn Workshop took place on the 28th and 29th October, 2013 in Beckmanns Hof and it proved to be very popular! We were full to the brim and will look for a larger location for next year's workshop. There were 2 plenary talks by Early Career Researchers Dr. Matthias Heyden and Dr. Christian Merten and Prof. Dr. Martina Havenith gave an overview of RESOLV. In the main part, 20 GSS doctoral students gave a short summary of their research projects, provoking numerous discussions with their fellow students and the many PIs and PSs who took part. A poster session was held in the evening after the buffet meal. Many thanks to all those who attended and made it such an enjoyable and successful workshop!
