RESOLV scientists win poster prizes

Infrared and EPR spectroscopy in the spotlight

Two RESOLV young researchers won poster prizes at international conferences that took place in the U.S. in July.

Dr. Devendra Mani won the prize with the poster 'Dissociation of HCl at 0.37 K: Sequence Matters' at the Gordon Research Conference: Water and Aqueous Solutions. Mani is a postdoc in the group of Prof. Havenith at RUB and applies infrared spectroscopy in his research. He is also the RESOLV ECR postdoc representative.

Markus Teucher was awarded the best poster prize at the 59th Rocky Mountain Conference on Magnetic Resonance with the poster '4-pulse Nitroxide-nitroxide Q-band DEER revisited: Improved signal fidelity with Gaussian pulses'. Teucher is a RESOLV GSS PhD student in the group of Prof. Bordignon at RUB and uses EPR spectroscopy in his research.
