Can you recall better the image of Marie Curie or that one of Albert Einstein? Can you name two female Nobel Prizes in science? And what are the future career perspectives for female scientists? On 9-10 September 2019, the Cluster of Excellence RESOLV, in collaboration with the Swiss research network NCCR MUST (Molecular Ultrafast Science and Technology), organizes a two day meeting open to women and men to discuss how to build a gender-fair academy.

Martina Havenith, Speaker of RESOLV, and Ursula Keller, Director of MUST, will talk about the measures in place at both institutes to support women scientists. Eva Reichwein will give an overview on DFG's equal opportunities measures, numbers and facts. And Nadine Afram from ETH/University of Zurich will conduct a workshop on unconscious bias in science. Check the program for more highlights.

The meeting will take place in ZEMOS, room 0.17 in the ground floor (check how to get to ZEMOS).

If you need childcare during the meeting please contact nicole.seier@rub.de and provide the following information: Number of children, their age, and the required time.

We will provide a voucher to get your lunch at the RUB dining hall (Mensa). The daily voucher has to be given to the person sitting at the cash desk in the MENSA after choosing your meal.

Do you want to learn more about a changing academy and, maybe, yourself? The meeting is public and free, register!
